B day Bashes, Movies and Blah Blah..

Why does everyone's b day some at the same time? Whatever the reason is, I not liking it.. This month, 4 of my classmates b day came, and 3 friends.. And all my allowance went for buying gifts for them.. Usually I don't buy gifts.. I like to give personalized handmade gifts, but due to exams i had no time to make a gift.. So indeed i made cards and bought da gifts.. Duh.. So, atlas, the exams are over, but, NEWSFLASH, the real exams are gonna start soon.. Infact, really soon...

So, I heard that those who get president's scholarship gets to anywhere they want to study.. I already made up my mind about a few options, like Harvard, Princeton Melbourne, Oxford, Cambridge, etc.. And so, I really need to study hard.. At least A girl can dream, right? =D

Anyways, I have been really sick lately, with fever, cold, and headaches.. Hoping to get well soon..

I have been pretty away from movies, and other suff due to learning, and due to the gazillion homeworks i need to complete.. Hmph.. Been a business student's never been easy.. But, I watched Slumdog Millionare last night.. It was so nice, and I watched Changeling, which brought tears to my eyes.. Bedtime stories was fun, especially the FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Ferrari thingy.. hehe.. That's all..

And about Mickie, she's been ronings and ronings, and everybody trying to make her smile.. It was fun, yet tiring.. And the best news is that, thuttha is back.. =D

And i tried playing football, but hurt my leg, so I stopped it.. hehe.. poor leg..

And Im so trying to upload a pic of mickie, but i can't.. Duh..

And, I found something funny, Look at this, even babies know the difference.. =P

Subject: Problems with my new computer

Dear Mr. Bill Gates,

We have bought a computer for our home and we have found some problems, which I want to bring to your notice.

1. There is a button 'start' but there is no 'stop' button. We request you to check this.

2. We find there is 'Run' in the menu. One of my friends clicked 'run' he ran up to Amritsar ! So, we request you to change that to 'sit', so that we can click that by sitting.

3. One doubt is whether any 're-scooter' is available in system? I found only 're-cycle', but I own a scooter at my home.

4. There is 'Find' button but it is not working properly. My wife lost the door key and we tried a lot trace the key with this ' find' button, but was unable to trace. Please rectify this problem.

5. My child learnt 'Microsoft word' now he wants to learn 'Microsoft sentence', so when you will provide that?

6. I brought computer, CPU, mouse and keyboard, but there is only one icon which shows 'MY Computer': when you will provide the remaining items?

7. It is surprising that windows says 'MY Pictures' but there is not even a single photo of mine. So when will you keep my photo in that.

8. There is 'MICROSOFT OFFICE' what about 'MICROSOFT HOME' since I use the PC at home only.

9. You provided 'My Recent Documents'. When you will provide 'My Past Documents'?

10. You provide 'My Network Places'. For God's sake please do not provide 'My Secret Places'. I do not want to let my wife know where I go after my office hours.

Mickie

Well, good news... Mom gave birth to a baby girl on 5th of Jan.. Im so sorry Im late in saying this.. cos I've been pretty busy... So, last Sunday dad named her Mikyaal.. I call her Mickie, mom call her Meekko..

I don't have a digital pic of her, since kudabe took the pics and went back to the resort, and my phone's USB is with thuttha, so when i get either of this, i'll post a pic...

School has reopened, so far so better, and I even did C1 and C2.. Hoping for an A... and well, now it's all Mickie.. She's so cute and everyone's so happy...

Well, I don't have mich to say now, so that's all folks... Hope to be back soon with a good post... =D

I might not be able to update my blog regularly till 13th, firstly cos last month's Internet bill is a little bit high( actually very high) and so mom has been lecturing me about it , Duh... You know how moms are... And she wouldn't change it to Unlimited, cos she thinks it would affect my studies, just the same reason she won't get cable TV... Arrgh..And secondly cos, I have Jan exams and I need to get ready, But I'll miss you guys...

And, I can't wait for mom to get a baby, It's so near.. She was supposed for labor on 25th Dec, but now it's 2nd Jan, whatever, I'll keep you posted when the baby comes... Yeah... Im gonna be a big big sister.. and Muntha's gonna be the lil big sister..hehe

And I have a crush on someone... OMG... I donno whether it's a crush or anything, but he's been a friend since March... and a good one... So let's name him Pete..

Right now, life's great, and all im doing is watching films, You won't believe how many films i've watched in Last two weeks...Let's see

1. Forgetting Sarah Marshall (I found it really boring, Eww)
2. Zaxk and Miri make a Porno (Stupid one, and Zack, Eww... A waste of few hours of my life)
3. Ghajini ( loved it, Eventhough i don't like Jia.. Asin was so cute, and it was amazing, how Amir remembers by writing and stuff... I recommend this to everyone... )
4. Wild Child ( Loved it, Emma was cute and the usual high school one)
5. Angus, thongs and perfect snogging ( Cute movie, teenage girl stuff)
6. Sorry Bhai (One of the best movies, lovely and amazing story, and great location... Two thumbs up... )
7. Twilight (Liked it, not that much, but it was strange... Kinda crazy, likes Edward's hair style)
8. Role Models (Not that good.. )
9. Rab ne bana di Jodi (Great.. Loved Suri, Raj, and Anushka... Loved all songs, especially the one with lost of other stars.. Phir milenge, chalte chalte)
10. Perfect Man ( loves holly, Amy, Zoe and her mom, and the fact that holly's a blogger... Yippee)
11. Annie ( A Disney musical movie... Nice concept, and lovely songs )
12. Freaky Friday (another Lindsay Lohan movie... But it was Ok...)
13. Peter Pan ( hated this, hate Wendy... the only thing good was tink, but the person who play tink, is so not fit for a tink... )

Hmm, 13 movies, not bad... And how many math lessons I have done... None... hehe... Tells me I should really work hard...

And, last night was a total disaster...Dhontha (a cousin), who lives nearby, called and asked me to take Shayan( my nephew) to my place, since she was going to hospital, so the whole night everyone at home had to make him stop crying... And he didn't stop, so by 11:30, we had to take him home...That's Shayan (Aan) in the pic...I wonder what will happen when mom will get a baby... *thinkin*

I'm not talking about Nick Jonas or the backstreet Boys guy, but about nick names... Lots of people have great nick names and some totally unmentionable..

I specially like

Muuthi(I really donno whether its her real name or not),

Mini( you know mini, it suits you.. No offence),

Boila (and I even find it funny how he got the name),

Shweeeeet( the sweetest nick someone could ever have, plus the glamour the 5 E's add to the name make it super glamorous and sweet),

Gigaflare (dude, I need an explanation),

Lilly (I think it came from her name, Aali...Is my theory correct),

Latto ( lol is all i gotta say),

Taxu (It makes me remember the Taz, the guy in Bugs Bunny, looney tunes thingy),

Itha ( It's unique),

Iekko (a little bodugulha but totally cute),

Raf Raf (one and only, and Im proud to say i gave him that nick, ^.^),

And yeah, these days are as boring as it can get... But atleast Im surviving...

And I saw Yuvvraaj (with extra V and A, Duh)

It was not that great but overall I liked it.. Specially the songs...

So they portray it like a classical Indian Music fan drama type... And like the ancient times of Raja's and big people, ugh

Anyway's, I liked Zayed's role the best... It even made me cry, the time when Salman (Devan), asks Katrina's Dad to save his brother Anil (Yogesh) from death... The songs are wonderful... Specially the mastam song, and with brothers like Anil, Salman and Zaid (sons of the legendry yuvvraaj), it's up for some good family drama, Indian classic music, the fight for money and the great orchestra...

This time, I won't write a full review on this, cos it's too complicated plus I think you'd better go and see it, I think it might be a flop..(Just what I think,)

But DOSTANA still Rocks.

Disney, Disney, please come here...

HSM 3: Senior Year has been out for more than a month... But I still haven't got it... All because all the CD shops I ever visited haven't even got it.. they don't even know what it is..I wanna watch it...

Quantum Of Solace has been out for a few weeks and it's already available...

Disney, is so new to Maldives.. people only know Disney as a place for cartoons.. When someone hears about Disney, they think about Walt Disnep, Cinderella, Snow white, etc...

But it's more than just that...

Disney has the best series for kids, pre teens, teens and even adults..

We all know about Prison Break, Heroes, and How I met your Mother. But no body has even Heard of Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly place, or Suite life of Zack and Cody...

And, all of us are big fans of Star plus and Star Movies, but nobody knows about Disney TV..

It's not even available in Maldives,,

Duh..

I just wish that Disney was available in Maldives..

And of course we all know about Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Linkin Park... But a few people know the great pop teen sensations like Miley Cyrus, the hansome tri bros Jonas Brothers, high school hotties Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron..

What's wrong with Maldives? Eww.. And I couldn't find a single copy of Enchanted, or even Another Cinderella Story in Maldives...

If only Maldives knew much more about Disney, Its a wonderful place..

I just had to write about this because, I love Disney, and well, watching it on you tube is not fun.. and having no body know about who Hannah Montana is , sucks... It really does.. Girls around the globe loves Jonas Bros, Nick Kevin and Joe.. But Maldivian girls, doesn't even know that they exist...

If you guys know about them, I'll be more than happy.. and even if you don't please lie to me that you do know them..

And, what happened to CQ? That was a cool magazine, like one of its kind in Maldives..

Is politics the only  thing Maldivians care about?

Holiday Spirit

It's holidays again and looks like Im the only one stuck here in Male, while every one I know must now be in their islands enjoying...*sigh*

However, these holidays are not so very boring, so far so good. and it's raining chocolates, Ferreros, Toblerones, Kit kats, Milka's, Dairy milk's and even lollipops...

And Sunday's been the worst day in my life, I got up with a nasty stomachache , couldn't eat a thing and vomited my head down... and mom was insisting to go to hospital( the place I hate most in the whole world), I didnt want to go, so dad got an Ivy and I had my first ever ivy... at home.. It didnt hurt as much as I thought and It was a butterfly shaped blue pin.. so cute.. Lasted for about an hour.. and thank god, Im now feeling much better...*rolling eyes* 

Disaster Strikes Again

Grr... I hate the day when they show us the marks... Sheesh... Well... This time I did Improve in a lot of subjects, and even got so low marks that Im ashamed...

Lets see...

ISLAM

80/100 Better than expected. At least I deserved this, cos I started studying 1 week early, like for the first time ever in my life...

CPE

65/100 Not bad... Im pretty surprised that I got 33/40 in speaking, cos my speaking was damn bad.... But then miracles do happen... =P

BUSINESS

84/100 Never expected this much... However, I must say that this marks might lead me to start a business (conclusion)...

ECONOMICS

43/100 Ugh... I know... I hate economics, but this... is bad... the marking was the most strict one I ve ever experienced... Not only I got lower marks... The highest was 70 (Congrats Pragya), and of course following her at the next step was (as always, after her =P) Gigs! (congrats dude!)

The other papers were not shown, and Im thankful for that! 

And now... I need a break... And again gotta start studying for Jan exams and for CPE... Eww... Does anyone have anything better to do!!!

A lil about me

Now here I’m wondering that how much little my pal bloggers know about me... The real me...At the start of my sophomore year, I have moved to this cozy lil place in maaveyo magu... And its so cool and lovely...We have only one neighboring house within our house... And its a family just like my family... A mom, a dad and two daughters... A younger daughter named Haifa (hai kolhu),8 yrs just like muntha and she even looks like muntha with curly hair and spectacles... And Thuhufa, lot like me but younger than me (She's in grade 6, both of them in Jamaaluddin)... And we even got a rabbit named Sparkles...muntha and haifa named it sparkles after they watched Barbie and the diamond castle where barbie and Alexa has two rabbits lilly and sparkles... I told them not to name it lilly since you know, we have a Lilly in blogosphere too, so it might get a lil bit confusing... Any ways sparkles is a keymartu, eats every single thing edible... Sheesh... Anyways its nice having a rabbot around...

And this place feels so like not male' with two palm trees, two jolifathis and lots of sand and blue sky above...So far all my friends who visited me here, adores this place... Lucky me... =P

Exams are still going on and not to mention me doing wy too bad in them... Life is good and my story is going well... And now my biggest obsession is Italy... OMG... After reading "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbart, I want to go to Italy and learn Italian, the most romantic language ever, and eat the delicious foods, adn visit Naples and eat the best pizza on the whole world.. I love travelling and its now  in my life list (A list of things I want to do before I die) to visit Italy and eat the best pizza plus learn Italian...

Its ben so long since I haven't dsone a scrapbook page or written a reivew... I might do them after the exam...

And...

I have advice for all the girls who wants to get married in a near future... "DON'T LET YOUR MOTHER IN LAWS DESIGN THE WEDDING CARD"...

PS Which name is better for my character? Estelle Moore or Estelle Quintano???
