A letter to my parents. This is kinda easy.

Dear Mom and Daddykins,

I know I am not the perfect daughter you thought I would be. I didn't quite exactly grow up to be what you painted, but nevertheless, I try. I do try to be what you expect me to be. I do try to live according to your rule book, but I am still a teenager. Someone who wants to rebel, no because it’s cool but because I am never good with other people’s rules.

You are, however the best parents ever because you sent me to school, and gave me proper education, you didn't differentiate me, or treat me like a slave for being a girl. You never made me feel like I couldn't do anything, because no matter what I get myself into, I am always sure you’d have my back. Thank you for keeping up with all my crazy phases and loving me even more. Thank you for not vowing someone’s kid to marry me when I turn 15, and thank you for letting me make my own mistakes. I needed that.

I know I did so many things that hurt you. I am truly sorry, but I love you, and I know I can never ever repay you, and that’s not even slightly why I want to major in Marketing. (One reason is so that I can spoil you when you guys get old and cute and still be there for me). Also thanks for just being there when I needed for a shoulder to cry on, and for when I just needed someone to be there, and not judge me.

I may not be the brightest kid ever, but I do try my very best to PASS (in your dictionary) in all exams and to make you proud. Thanks for keeping up with my crazy spending patterns and shoe obsession, and thanks for calling me Margaret Thatcher (LOL!).

Thanks for not spoiling me, (that much! haha) and for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the whole world.

Day 23

Something that I crave for a lot? hmm. I crave for a lot of things, hah. Most of them are sweet stuff like cupcakes, chocolates, marshmallow, coke and popsicles.

When it’s raining I crave for hot chocolate and marshmallows, sitting under a windowsill watching the raindrops, dancing in the rain, and a good nap.

When it’s windy I crave for thelulifaiy and rihaakuru and wearing sweaters and getting out.

When it’s hot, I crave for Ice-cream/Jugo and getting out making sundials, or sipping lemonade under the shade of a tree.

When it’s night time, I crave to be inside, in the light and eat all the popcorn I can and make pizza toasts.

When I feel I am sick, I crave for Granny’s helebeli huiy and listening to Muntha sing “Happy Kitty”.

When I am hyped up and in a mood for fun, I crave for Toblerone Milk chocolate and a good book, or perhaps a bunch of friends to go shopping with.

And I always crave for vanilla cake anywhere, any time, any season!

Today is about a topic I absolutely love blabbering about. What makes me different from others.

Honestly speaking, I am like a lot of people, but not entirely alike. I try to think of me someone completely unique, but then that’d make me an alien, which I am not. So no matter how hard I try to be different, I kinda keep falling back to the spot. so, I’ve stopped the trying, and started just living, just being me for a change.

I’m a lot like those skinny buruga girls, yes. I agree. But I don’t follow the latest fashions, I make my own! When everyone else wears flats, I wear 6 inch heels. That how different it gets.

I’m a very out of the box person. I talk really fast in class so that people won’t understand what I am saying. It’s kinda fun too. I make up silly excuses and expect people to believe them just because I would believe it. I’m a lot like Alice, from Alice in Wonderland, questioning everything, and trying to believe the things others would find queer.

I make up stories when I walk alone so that I don’t have to look all scared and alone. I make up songs about everyday things. I write a lot. I sing, dance, and design!

I pick shoes to match my dress, talk in gibberish when I’m lost for word, play dress up when people are sleeping and pose to pictures when everyone is being camera-shy. I don't try to blend in. I dress like it’s a fashion show everyday. I am too busy dreaming to actually realize how cruel the world is. I like to think I am quite different from others, but then again, I donno all the people in the world personally so there still remain the question of exactly how much different I am. 

I’m not sure how I am different from everyone else because no matter what different thing I’ll do, someone in the world, some one else would do the same. After all, great minds think alike.

A picture of something that makes me happy. This is going to be a long post since a lot of things make me happy.

So here goes without any particular order.

cute rings. I love them. also decorated phones. specially PINK!! They scream “Shaha” and they always bring a smile to my face.

Fairy dust, and kids in gorgeous dresses. Doesn't they go so well together?

People who inspire me to follow my dreams, my idol Doe and yellow flowers, specially daffodils.

Phineas and Ferb! (and Candace and Jeremy too) and Hermione and Ron (also anything Harry potter and Em and Rupert!)

Best friends, and hijabi’s with great style. Also people who walk in the street daily, wearing something that looks like they came from a page of a magazine.

Someone I see myself marrying/ being with in future.

Hmm this is a hard one. Of course my fictional husband would be either Jimmy Neutron in his 20 year old self, or Ron Weasley. Too bad guys like these doesn't exist in my world in real life. Or may be they do, but they already have their Hermione’s. *sigh*

So far, I haven't really planned that much so lets not plan, and let the magic happen.

Nicknames I have, and why I have them.

Throughout the last eighteen years of my life, I’ve gathered up a few nicknames. A lot, actually, but some only remained overtime. My favorite is and has always been the usual nickname Shaha.

Some people call me Shaa, which is totally OK by me, since they think my real name is Shaha and try to shorten it, haha. Then, some call me Shaako (which always reminds me of Sharks. gee), Shahahahahah (cause I laugh way too much), Shaaha (another variation of Shaha) and ShaSha (I love this name. Still, it’s too Bratzy for me).

Then there are those unrelated names, including Baby (everyone in my pre-high school knows me as Baby, cause I was the youngest one there), Diary Girl (apparently, due to the blog name), hansikagirl ( my former blog and mig name), Bieber (LOL, as I hate this guy, and that’s why my crazy classmates decided to call me this! Argh!), Tinky WInky/Tink (a nickname few funny friends call me), and Nerdy (due to my almost nerd state!).

Next comes the family nicknames which are mostly Dhontha (I love this name) and another variation of it, Dhonthi (due to too many dhontha’s in the family).

Also, there are some ridiculous nicknames like Shahaada Ahmed Fareesh,(Don’t even ask me why, my classmates are bonkers!) and Blha Blah (again, by classmates cause I write and talk too much, Lol)

Plans/dreams/goals that I have. As most of the regular readers know, I am obsessed with making goals, lists, name it. So, I have like a thousand dreams and goals.

The most notable of them are

1. I wanna be a fashion designer. Actually a business woman, with a fashion line.

2. I want to do a PHD in Marketing

3. I want to visit all the countries in the world

4. Publish a book

5. Live my life fully!

I do have a gazillion more things that I wanna do before I die, which you can see by browsing through my monthly goals and new year resolutions and the Life list.

Who would I want to switch lives for one day and why?

Hmm, this is a hard question, I mean there are loads of people whom I would wanna switch lives, mostly celebrities, and kids (LOL).

But since I am only supposed to choose one person, I am gonna go with Jane from Sea of Shoes.  She’s an 18 year old fashion blogger. She is not really a celebrity (I bet that none of my friends even know that she exist!), but she is awesome. She has an amazing mom (but I have the most amazing mom!) and a great blog, the perfect boyfriend, a great home, the freaking-mega-awesome shoe collection, and her own shoe line. Also, she has great sisters, and she has been in the Chanel debutante Ball along with prince’s and other famous people.

Even though she and I have so different styles, and probably opposites of everything, I want to know how she lives for just one day.

Also on my list of people to switch lives with include David Archie, Tyra Banks, Rosie Hardy, Michelle Obama, Hansika Motwani, Shea, and that girl I once saw in Majeedhee Magu with two gay best friends. =D

And the fictional character that I want to switch lives with is Timmy, from Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron’s , Nancy Drew and Hermione Granger.

PS, It’s Muntha’s birthday today (Sept 13), so Happy Tenth Princess Myra! (I call her that. Don’t ask why)

Day 16

Another picture of myself, as if you guys aren’t bored already. But hey, I’m all up for shameless self promotion. =P

My usual weird pose whenever I don;t think people are talking pictures of me! Also, I love yellow, as if it isn’t obvious! Plus, this was the day I decided to dress up as a hufflepuff.Not a good idea, as people thought I was dressed like a Bee. Seriously! People don’t get me at all!!

 

Did I tell you I love posing around STOP signs cos I think they are cute. Some people may disagree. (yes, Iththi, I AM talking about you!). Also note, I AM NOT SLEEPING. I am just looking down!

Day 15

So, today I gotta put my iPod to shuffle and list the 10 songs that play. And since I don’t have an iPod, I’m using my ever so reliable media player.

1. Loabi Vanee Keevehey – Ehandhaanuga Remix

I don’t like this version, as I love the original version, and I’m against changing lyrics oven to do a cover, and I feel that the song was made worse. I still like the girl’s vocals.

2. Womanizer – Britney Spears

Honesty, this is the first Britney song I ever listened, and I instantly fell in love with it. I don’t like Britney, but she’s such a good singer. haha. Till this day, I’ve listened to many Britney songs, but this still remains my number one song!

3. Billu Bayankar – Billu

Ok, I agree. i have a weird taste in music. I absolutely love Punjabi style songs, and creepy songs like this. Gosh. I would listen to this over some much fames love song  any day! Call me crazy, but that’s who I am.

4. Surili Akiyon Wale – Veer

I absolutely love this song. It’s very romantic and mellow. Normally I would rather listen to a hyper song, but this song soothes me, and it makes me dreamy. haha. Also, I love Hindi songs and movies more than English.

5. Fairytale – Alex Rybak

This is only Alex song that I know, and I then became a huge fan of him. Only one song was what took me to like this guy. Plus, he looks HOT!

6. Jogi Mahi – Bachna Ae Haseeno

There was one time in my life, when i put this song on repeat and only listened to it. This time lasted quite some time, so you can imagine how much I was attached to it. As said earlier, I have a fascination for Punjabi style songs.  This one is special because it kind of tells the story of my life, at some point.

7.True Friend – Miley Cyrus

I am a huge fan of Miley, so I have all her songs. This song is not exactly a favorite. I just happen to have it on my playlist.

8. I Wanna Know You – David Archie and Miley Cyrus

Two of my all time favorite artists doing a great song. It actually should be my favorite, huh? But, not really. I do like the song, and play it quite often though.

9. Fabulous – Ashley Tisdale

Another favorite singer. You must think, “God, does she only like cutesy Disney songs?” haha. Not always, but I do love Disney. Plus, this song is totally fashion- related and fab!

10. Connected – Katherine McPhee

One more reason to love Barbie movies, they have amazing songs. My sisters and I love these type of songs. I personally love how happy-go-lucky this is, and Cat’s vocals are ah-mazing!

A letter to someone who has hurt you recently! whoa. I don’t let people hurt me. I think I’ve gotten pretty good at it. Thanks to sarcasm, and positive thinking, and Ice-cream, I've been having good relationships with people. However, hurt isn't inevitable. At some point, I just get hurt, specially by the people whom I never thought would hurt me. But I never hold grudges. OK, almost never! Actually the last people to hurt me were some classmates, but I've gotten over it, and I don’t really have anything to say to them.

As most of you might already know, I am entirely bonkers, and so I make up stuff in my mind all the time. One of these things, is a guy named Ben, his girlfriend Leia, who btw is two timing with my stepbrother Freddie (I do have a step brother, and Freddie is a perfected version of him. LOL). So, I am gonna write a letter to Ben, whose short for Benqjirkinsonn(pronounced as Ben-Jerk- in-son).

Not so dear Ben,

It’s not my problem that your girl friend cheats on you. And it’s definitely not my problem that she’s a freaking gold digger. Get a life! ( and a new girlfriend).

On an unrelated note, Ben didn’t hurt me (Ben is a fictional character, for gods sake. He can’t go on hurting people or making them feel like Miss-fatty!)

Also, I should learn to hold grudges more often so next time a post like this comes up, I wouldn't have to write a fake letter to a fictional Ben-Jerk!
