5 New Shows to Watch This January!
January is here with a dazzling array of exciting new shows including a much hyped comeback of a beloved star! Here are 5 shows I'm looking forward to this month.
Can This Love be Translated?
Everyone and their mum has been hyping this show for months and it's finally (almost here). The beloved Kim Seon Ho (Hometown Cha Cha Cha) returns as a romantic lead and we are ready to swoon! He acts as a translator for a famous actress, played by Go Youn Jung (Moving) and there's bound to be mishaps and pining, a combo we all love to see.
Premiere Date: 16 January
No.of Episodes: 12
Bookish
An Antique bookstore, baffling cases, a cast of quirky characters, what's not to love about this new show starring Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) as Gabriel Book? The trailer has me so intrigued and I'm a sucker for a good whodunnit, plus the bookshop setting will bring me much nostalgia after my own bookshop adventures in the past two years. I'm only bummed it has six episodes.
Premiere Date: 11 January
No.of Episodes: 6
No Tail to Tell
There's so many Gumiho (nine tailed fox from East Asian folktales) stories and yet there can't be enough for me! Except this Gumiho the lovable Kim Hye Yoon (Extraordinary You) does not want to be human and collects small bad deeds until fate brings her to a soccer player. Our male lead is Lomon (Revenge of Others), who I am so excited to see get bigger roles.
Premiere Date: 16 January
