Once Upon a Time in Velidhoo

I have been traveling a bit lately but haven't properly had time to vlog or blog about it so here are some highlights of the trip on the independence day holiday to N. Velidhoo which is a wonderful island.

We arrived one day later than our friends so they made us find the house using instructions but we actually found the house using snapmap hahaha, what a 2017 thing, eh.
We hung out under the tree playing games and chilling.
Then we got a bunch of bikes and rode to this pretty place to take some selfies and see the view.

And we climbed this really large sand hill to take pictures of the beautiful sunset. The fields seem to go on for a long time! It was so much fun.
I managed to capture the sunset but this dude kept ruining my view, ugh

We were invited to tea at a couple places and enjoyed some amazing delicacies. This island surely knows its cakes!
We played some card games and ofcourse after I see a white board, I'll go into teaching mode, haha.

I saw some birds on a tree and had to take a birds in motion picture so here is my attempt at throwing a stone at the tree, which was a total failure.
I have no idea what is going on here.
No trip would ever be complete without a trip to the sea, and some colour explosions.
It was SOOOOO blue! Sometimes it's hard to believe this is what home looks like. We went to moodhu twice because why not
When you find a rock, you climb on it.
Island life is always filled with undhoali, which is amazing. If you've never been on one, you're missing out.

Here's a blurry picture of us, minus lilal. We had a really good weekend. I can't wait for the next trip!

Meanwhile, here is a little vlog of the trip! Hope you enjoy
