5 New Shows to Watch This February

Welcome to my monthly list of what shows I'm excited for! This time there's not too many Kdramas which is a first, because often those are my go-tos.

Vanished

Starting off strong we have a mini series, a mystery thirller set in the beautiful Paris starring Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin as lovers on a romantic getaway. Things get murky as the boyfriend vanishes on the train and she is alone in Paris trying to figure out what happened. I'm already one episode in, and it's got the right kind of "you can't trust anyone" vibes matched with the most gorgeous scenery!

Honour

I've just started watching this just for the female powerhouse trio of Lee Na Young (Romance is a Bonus Book) , Jung Eun Chae (Pachinko) , and Lee Chung Ah (Celebrity) who are university friends working in a law firm that specialises in defending female crime victims. I know I'm in for an emotional ride already, and as the cases get worse, I'm sure there will be many tears shed. I love serious law shows in Kdramaland because they will deliver on the emotion, set to full intensity.

Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model

Teenage Shaha was an avid watcher of ANTM, eating it up, not realizing how much insanity went on that show. Tyra was a tyrant, her kingdom built on the tears of aspiring young girls who were treated oh so terribly. We've seen the think pieces on Youtube and now we finally get to hear it from the horse's mouth indeed. This show ruined lives and I'm intrigued. I don't know how to feel about it but it's like watching an incoming crash without knowing how to move.

56 Days

A thriller that looks so sexy? Afraid I don't need more. Starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia as they meet and fall into a trap of obsession. There's murder, there's a web of lies, and there's so much blind obsession. Count me in, the fact that it comes out on my birthday? Perfect gift for me.

Premier Date: 18 February

In Your Radiant Season

Chae Jong Hyeop (Serendipity's Embrace) is animator here, with secrets hiding under his positive outlook. His saviour is Lee Sung Kyung (The Nice Guy), an eldest daughter and a designer. It sounds like a healing romance and we always need more of that. Plus, I'm excited to see the animation side of things.

Premier Date: 20 February
